Bitcoin Ekasi is a project that is building a bitcoin economy in Mossel Bay, a South African township. Bitcoin for Fairness (BFF) is a non-profit initiative raising knowledge and understanding of Bitcoin for people in emerging countries and for disadvantaged people.
BFF believes that the decentralized Bitcoin and Lightning Network is getting stronger with each node.
The RaspiBlitz is a do-it-yourself Lightning Node. It is mainly targeted for learning how to run your own node decentralized from home – because: Not your Node, Not your Rules. The RaspiBlitz is now running in more than 1000 households around the globe. It is even possible to earn Bitcoin with your RaspiBlitz. For every payment you rout with your Blitz through the network you get some routing fees. That is not much but that was also the case in early Bitcoin mining. It is even possible to earn Bitcoin with your RaspiBlitz.
