The Trezor Academy event, hosted by Bitcoin for Fairness, took place in Lusaka, Zambia on August 23. Trezor Academy is an educational program that aims to accelerate the adoption of Bitcoin worldwide. The program consists of in-person sessions led by local Bitcoin educators. Participation in all Trezor Academy sessions is free.
The 2nd workshop will take place on August 26, and the third on August 27 at DigiHub Lusaka.
Bitcoin for Fairness is a non-profit initiative aimed at raising knowledge and understanding of Bitcoin among people in emerging countries and disadvantaged communities. Founded by Anita Posch, a passionate Bitcoin advocate, educator, podcaster, and author of (L)earn Bitcoin – Become Financially Sovereign, the organization has been holding regular meetups in Zambia since May 2022.
