Bitcoin Zambia is a local initiative of to raise understanding and awareness of Bitcoin in Zambia through educational events and engagement in the local community.
Bitcoin For Fairness Involvement
We supported the founding of Bitcoin Zambia as a satellite community for BFF. We have been on the ground in Lusaka several times since 2022, conducting workshops with journalists, university students, doing interviews with various media channels, and establishing regular meet-ups in the Lusaka area. Our support is focused on capacity building, continued mentoring of the core team on the ground and supporting this sound and strong growing initiative with access to educational training, connecting it to other communities in Zambia and on the continent. Since early 2025 Bitcoin Zambia is standing on its own, we are still cooperating.
